# Indicators

Raw captures and deduplicated release views answer different questions.

## Raw mode
The default is one retained observation per capture. A flat sequence may be repeated collection of the same release. Some legacy observations lack a source URL. Blank legacy rows and explicitly stale observations are excluded by the public view.

## Release mode
Request dataset=indicators&mode=release for one row per series_id and period. Latest value and first_value let you inspect a captured revision. revised is true for changed monthly or policy prints and null for daily quotes. release_date is the first-seen Beijing date.
